Elitnet’s Encrypted Communications Server (ECS) is an open-source-based product for secure communications which encompasses a feature-rich Android and iOS application for encrypted voice and video calls, messaging, and file sharing and a private server for secure communications within closed user groups/enterprises.
The application, which features encrypted voice and video calling, real-time messaging, secure image and file sharing, and group conversations, is combined with a private server which handles all communication between separate clients. The server may be based in the cloud or hosted in a private secure location.
The product features top level encryption for voice and video calls, messages, and shared files of any type. The product uses the Signal cryptographic protocol developed by Open Whisper Systems, which is widely considered to be one of the most secure encryption protocols currently available in the market.

PRIVATE PHONE CALLS
The product allows to make high quality private phone calls to other users with top level end-to-end encryption, preventing any third-party call recording or eavesdropping.
ENCRYPTED MESSAGING
Users can send text messages to each other via a secure channel, ensuring total privacy. All messages may be set to disappear after a certain period of time, preventing access to them in the future.
SECURE IMAGE AND FILE SHARING
The application features encrypted sharing of images, audio and video files, contacts, and other file types. Users can also share their current location with each other.
INTEGRATED PHONE ADDRESS BOOK
The application reuses the device’s existing address book and identifies all users by their phone number, eliminating the need to register a new account and use a separate login name and password.
MILITARY-GRADE ENCRYPTION
ECS uses the Signal cryptographic protocol to encrypt all messages, group messages, and calls. It combines a wide range of state-of-the-art encryption methods to ensure total privacy and security for the users.
SECURE PRIVATE SERVER
The communications between the solution’s users are carried out via a private server which routes calls and messages between users, ensuring no third-party interference in the process.
